This Notice shall be published once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in the Sarasota Edition of the Business Observer.

Samir M. Shafie, a resident of Sarasota County, Florida, who died on June 15, 2023, was the settlor of a trust entitled: Samir M. Shafie Trust dated April 30, 1997, as Amended and Restated on February, which is a trust described in Florida Statutes Section 733.707(3) and is liable for the expenses of the administration of the decedent’s estate and enforceable claims of the decedent’s creditors to the extent the decedent’s estate is insufficient to pay them, as provided in Florida Statutes Section 733.607(2).
The name and address of the trustee are set forth below.
The clerk shall file and index this notice of trust in the same manner as a caveat, unless there exists a probate proceeding for the grantor’s estate in which case this notice of trust must be filed in the probate proceeding and the clerk shall send a copy to the personal representative.

Samir M. Shafie, a resident of Sarasota County, Florida, who died on June 15, 2023, was the Grantor of a Trust entitled Samir M. Shafie Trust dated April 30, 1997, as Amended and Restated on February 1, 2022. Under Florida Statute 736.0604, an action to contest the validity of a Trust that was revocable at the time of the Settlor’s death is barred if not commenced within the earlier of: (a) the time as provided in Chapter 95 of the Florida Statutes; or (b) six months after the Trustee sent the person a copy of the Trust Instrument and a Notice informing the person of the Trust’s existence, of the Trustee’s name and address, and of the time allowed for commencing a proceeding.
Accordingly, we are providing you with the following information;
1. Notice that the Samir M. Shafie Trust dated April 30, 1997, as Amended and Restated on February 1, 2022, existed at the death of Samir M. Shafie who died on June 15, 2023;
2. A copy of the Trust Agreement is supplied herewith;
3. The Trustee(s)’s name(s) and address(es) are:
