TAKE NOTICE THAT a petition has been filed for the adoption of a female child born on or about the 18th day of September, 2011, in Matthews, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to Katherine Louise McFall (Caucasian woman, age 20, medium-build, brown hair, brown eyes). It is believed that the child was conceived in the Pinellas County, Florida area in December 2010. You must either file a written response before the Clerk of Superior Court of the county named above or otherwise make defense to such petition within forty (40) days after October 21, 2011, exclusive of such date, to participate in and to receive further notice of the proceeding, including notice of the time and place of any hearing. Upon your failure to respond to the petition within the time prescribed, the petitioners will apply to the court for an order that your consent to the adoption is not required and for a decree of adoption which will terminate any parental rights you may have with respect to the child.
