Contractor's Pre-Qualification Statement and Questionnaire for the WTP
Redundant Piping Project

The City of Dunedin, Florida will accept pre-qualification statements from contractors desiring to become pre-qualified to bid on the construction of the City's Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Redundant Piping Project. Pre-qualified contractors will be the only contractors permitted to bid on the construction of the new pipelines. The Redundant Piping Project generally comprises the construction of 250 feet of new 8-inch pipe and fittings by open cut construction, 410 feet of new 12-inch pipe and fittings by directional drilling construction, 810 feet of 16-inch pipe and fittings by open cut construction, and new 24-inch and 30-inch valves and fittings, by open cut construction, in and around the City's reverse osmosis water treatment plant, while the plant remains in full operation. Only contractors with specific and demonstrated experience in the construction of new pipelines, valves and fittings in and around operating municipal water and/or wastewater treatment facilities will be considered for pre-qualification for this project work. The Project Cost is estimated at $750,000.

Qualification responses are due no later than the time and date noted above. Any packets received after that date and time will not be opened. Any individual requiring special assistance must notify the Purchasing Office in writing 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made.
