ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida 301 - Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4 pm local time, on October 11, 2011 for the purpose of selecting a Contractor for supplying all labor, material, and ancillary services required for the scope listed below.

BID TITLE: Cooling Tower Purchase
DUE DATE/TIME: October 11, 2011 @ 4 p.m. E.T.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: This bid will select a “Cooling Tower Supplier” for the purchase of Two (2) Nominal 230 ton Cooling Towers. The Installation will be by Others at a later date. The work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision required for the delivery of the towers, and meeting the following abstract scope:
1. Advance purchase the scheduled cooling towers.
2. The manufacturer shall furnish and ship towers.
3. Provide with 5 year full parts and labor warranty on entire machine.
4. Provide with all stainless steel construction including hardware. Provide certification of grade of stainless steel in tower construction.
5. Provide shipping to jobsite to coincide with the time the mechanical contractor will install the towers. Provide 48-72 hours notice of prior delivery of the towers. The Contractor shall be responsible for off loading the machines. Deliveries to Walter Pownall Service Center will not be accepted.
6. Bid Alternate: In lieu of 304 stainless steel, provide with 316 stainless steel construction
