Community Development District
Notice is hereby given to all landowners within the Summer Woods Community Development District, for lands generally described as lying in Sections 19 and 24, Township 33S, Range 18E, located east of I-75 and is situated south of Hwy 633 (Moccasin Wallow Road), northwest of US Hwy 301, and north of Erie Road, containing approximately 268 acres in Manatee County, Florida, advising that a meeting of landowners will be held for the purpose of electing five (5) supervisors.

Each landowner may vote in person or by written proxy. Proxy forms may be obtained upon request at the offices of the District Management Company, Development Planning & Financing Group, [DPFG] 15310 Amberly Drive, Suite 175, Tampa, Florida 33647, (813) 374-9102. At said meeting each landowner or his proxy shall be entitled to cast one vote per acre of land owned by him and located within the District for each person to be elected. A fraction of an acre shall be treated as one acre.
Immediately following the landowners meeting there will be convened the organizational meeting of the Board of Supervisors for the purpose of considering certain organizational matters of the Board to include election of certain District officers, consideration of certain documents related to the issuance of special assessment bonds to provide assessable improvements, and levy of special assessments within the District, and other such business which may properly come before the Board. The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida Law for Community Development Districts. The meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at the meeting.
There may be occasions when one or more supervisors will participate by telephone.

Each person who decides to appeal any action taken at the meetings is advised that the person will need a record of proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
