NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA
Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Board will, on September 10, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider the following ordinance(s):
Ordinance 12-44
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA REZONING APPROXIMATELY 105.68 +/- ACRES OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED EAST OF WILLIAMS ROAD AND WEST OF AVALON ROAD(CR 545) ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF MARSH ROAD, AT 17201, 17301 AND 17310 MARSH ROAD AND 1751 WILLIAMS ROAD, FROM NO ZONING (NZ) TO URBAN VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (UVPUD); PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN UVPUD REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIBING THE DEVELOPMENT AS THE WATERSIDE ON JOHN'S LAKE PHASE 2 URBAN VILLAGE PUD; PROVIDING FOR NON-SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the proposed ordinance(s) (which includes the legal description of the proposed site) may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida.
Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s). Written comments will be accepted before or at the public hearings. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City does not provide this verbatim record. Persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this public hearing should contact the City Clerk's Office at (407) 656-4111 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
