PUBLIC NOTICE
ANNOUNCEMENT OF BOOK CLOSING
To vote in the March 13, 2012, City of Winter General Election for City Commission Districts 2, 3, and 4 you must be registered with the Orange County Supervisor of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012.
If there is a run-off election on April 10, 2012, you must be registered with the Orange County Supervisor of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012.
Persons wishing to register to vote or to change an address or name to their voter registration may do so by picking up a Voter Registration form at any one of the following locations: Winter Garden City Hall lobby, 300 W. Plant Street, Winter Garden Branch Library, 805 E. Plant Street, Motor Vehicle office, 14179 W. Colonial (SR 50), or at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 119 W. Kaley Street, Orlando. In order to register to vote one should be prepared to provide proof of residency in Orange County, be at least 18 years of age by the day of the election, be a citizen of the United States, and be in possession of his/her civil rights.
Absentee ballots will start being mailed February 7, 2012 overseas absentee ballots will be mailed by January 27, 2012 and must be returned to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections before 7:00 p.m. March 13, 2012.
