PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
CITY OF WINTER GARDEN
ELECTION CANVASSING BOARD
The City of Winter Garden Canvassing Board will meet at City Hall Chambers, 300 W. Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida, at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 16, 2012.
The Board will meet to review and determine procedures to be used in the canvassing of absentee ballots, provisional ballots, and election results for the 2012 Municipal General and Runoff election, if necessary. In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, this meeting is open to the public.
Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision by a board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
