INVITATION TO BID
TO: ALL INTERESTED BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Pinellas County, Clearwater, Florida in the office of the Director of Purchasing, County Annex Office Building, 400 South Fort Harrison Avenue, 6th Floor, Clearwater, Florida, until March 20, 2012 @ 3:00 P.M. and will then and there be opened and read aloud for the following:

Services, Labor, Materials and Equipment Required for Construction of:
Building Lighting Retrofits (Re-bid No. 2) (PID No. 2186)
112-0201-CP (DF)

Due to the scope of this Project, two (2) mandatory site visits (encompassing four sites) are required. Bids received from bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visits will be judged non-responsive and will not be considered for award. The site visits are scheduled as follows: February 28, 2012, 8:00 A.M. at Annex Building, 400 S. Ft. Harrison Avenue, First Floor, Clearwater, Florida 33756; and, February 29, 2012 8:00 A.M. at North County Service Center, 29582 US 19 N, Clearwater, Florida 34688 continuing to EMS, 12490 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida 33774 and County Extension Center, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida 33774. Additional site visits may be requested and will be addressed via an addendum. A completed Mandatory Site Visit Acknowledgement Form, as included in SECTION E, is a requirement of the bid submittal. *Vendors who have completed the Mandatory Site Visits for all four sites and submitted the completed Mandatory Site Visit Acknowledgement form with the previous bid of this project are not required to attend the site visits.

The engineering estimate for this project is $850,000.00
