NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Board will, on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider a variance request to section 118-352(1)c of the City of Winter Garden Code of Ordinances relating to minimum rear yard setback requirements for property located at 404 Lake Amberleigh Drive in Winter Garden, Florida. The request is for a 6 foot rear yard setback in lieu of the required 25 foot rear yard setback in the R-1B zoning district. If approved, this variance will allow construction of a 16 foot x 19 foot screen room addition onto the rear of the existing residence.
Copies of the proposed request may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida.
Any and all support or objections will be heard at this time. If no valid objections are presented to the contrary, consideration will be given for granting this request. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City does not provide this verbatim record.
