NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VACATION OF EASEMENT
The Town of Oakland Town Commission proposes to partially vacate a drainage easement at a public hearing by the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 2012-01
A RESOLUTION FOR THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR VACATION OF A SECTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND TO DISCLAIM ANY RIGHT OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND AND THE PUBLIC IN SAID EASEMENT; RUNNING THE NORTH 6 FEET OF A 20 FT. EASEMENT AT THE REAR OF LOT 66, JOHNS COVE SUBDIVISION; AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The hearing will be at the following time and place:

WHERE: Town Center Meeting Hall
230 N. Arrington Street
WHEN: 7:00 P.M.
A copy of the proposed vacation may be inspected at the Town of Oakland Town Hall during regular business hours at 230 N. Tubb Street, Oakland, Florida. All hearings are open to the public. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this request at the public hearing or in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. Any party appealing a land use decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of public hearings are subject to change. Changes are announced at the initial scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
