PUBLIC NOTICE
Please take notice that the Board of County Commissioners beginning at 9:30 a.m., August 7, 2012, at its regular meeting in the Board Assembly Room, Fifth Floor, Pinellas County Courthouse, 3l5 Court Street, Clearwater, Florida, will hold a public hearing for the purpose of hearing objections, if any, to the petitioners' request to establish Rexdale Heights II Subdivision Street Lighting District with the cost to be funded by a special annual assessment levied on all property units within the district.

The title page of the proposed resolution will read as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE PINELLAS COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, INTENDING TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING NON-AD VALOREM SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE SERVICING OF REXDALE HEIGHTS II SUBDIVISION STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT BY CHAPTER 197.3632, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR THE NEED FOR THE LEVY OF SAID ASSESSMENT; PROVIDING FOR A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT SUBJECT TO THE LEVY; PROVIDING FOR A COPY TO BE SENT TO THE PROPERTY APPRAISER FOR PINELLAS COUNTY, THE TAX COLLECTOR FOR PINELLAS COUNTY, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear at the hearing and be heard regarding the proposed ordinance. The proposed ordinance can be inspected by the public at Pinellas County Traffic Engineering and Transportation Safety, 22211 U.S. Highway 19, Bldg #1, Clearwater, Florida 33765 and any comments may be directed to the Board Records Department located on the fifth floor of the Pinellas County Courthouse, 315 Court Street, Clearwater, Florida 33756.

Persons are advised, if they decide to appeal any decision made at this meeting/hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
