Town of Oakland
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN OF OAKLAND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP AND BY ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF REMINGTON ROAD SOUTH OF SR 50 CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 4.41 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, TOGETHER WITH ALL IMPROVEMENTS THEREON: PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

















The Town Commission of Oakland proposes to adopt the above mentioned ordinance on second reading. A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on July 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 Arrington Street Oakland, Florida.
The public is invited to attend and speak on this matter at the public meeting. Property owners in the area have been sent due public notice of the pending application for a Future Land Use Map change from Rural in Orange County to Low Density Residential in the Town of Oakland.
All documentation pertaining to this application is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, 220 N. Tubb Street Oakland, Florida. Persons needing special accommodations to participate in the proceedings should contact the Clerk's Office at (407) 656-1117 no later than two (2) days before the proceedings for assistance.
