IN THE MATTER OF THE
ADOPTION OF INFANT MALE HOWARD
The unknown father of Infant Male Howard, born to Jessica Rose Howard on April 2, 2012, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is hereby notified that a petition for adoption of Infant Male Howard was filed in the Superior Court of Vanderburgh County, Indiana, Civic Center Complex, 1 N.W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Evansville, Indiana 47708, on April 18, 2012.
If said unknown father seeks to contest the adoption of Infant Male Howard, said father must file a motion to contest the proposed adoption in accordance with Indiana Code Section 31-19-10-1 in the above-named court not later than thirty (30) days after the last publication of this notice.
If said unknown father of Infant Male Howard does not file a motion to contest the adoption within thirty (30) days after last publication of this notice, the above named court will hear and determine the pending petition for adoption. The consent of said unknown father to the proposed adoption of Infant Male Howard will be irrevocably implied and said unknown father will lose the right to contest either the adoption or the validity of said unknown father's implied consent to the adoption.
No oral statement made to said unknown father of Infant Male Howard by any person relieves said unknown father of his obligations under this notice.
This notice complies with Indiana Code Section 31-19-4.5-3 but does not exhaustively set forth a person's legal obligations under Indiana adoption statutes. The person being served with this notice, or his legal counsel, should consult the Indiana adoption statutes.
