NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF POLICIES (RULES AND REGULATIONS) BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA
Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 2260.03 - Section 504 in order to clarify the process with respect to hearing, update form numbers and titles, and clarify suspension and expulsion. No economic impact is expected.

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 8330 - STUDENT RECORDS in order to amend the Student Education Records Manual. No economic impact is expected.

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 0149.4 - PUBLIC COMMUNICATION TO THE BOARD in order to clarify the process for review of email and mail concerning employee or student conduct. No economic impact is expected.

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 6144 - INVESTMENTS in order to correct the job title for the Chief Financial Officer as well as clarify the performance measurement section. No economic impact is expected.

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 6320 - PURCHASING AND BIDDING in order to clarify the Terms and Conditions in the Purchasing Handbook regarding insurance and indemnification. No economic impact is expected.

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, an amendment to policy (rule) is being proposed regarding Policy 5440 - HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT AND STUDENT PERFORMANCE STANDARDS in order to correct the International Baccalaureate student credit section. No economic impact is expected.

A public hearing will be held on July 24, 2012, during a meeting of the School Board, in the Conference Hall at the School Board of Pinellas County, 301 4th Street SW, Largo, Florida.
