NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN OF OAKLAND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 8.1, ZONING CODE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CATEGORY OF R-IA FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFCTIVE DATE.



























The Town Commission of Oakland proposes to adopt an ordinance regarding a Zoning Map change for land located on the East side of Remington Road, North of John's Lake on first reading. A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on July 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 Arrington Street Oakland, Florida.
The public is invited to attend and speak on this matter at the public meeting. All documentation pertaining to this application is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, 220 N. Tubb Street Oakland, Florida. Persons needing special accommodations to participate in the proceedings should contact the Clerk's Office at (407) 656-1117 no later than two (2) days before the proceedings for assistance.
