Any person who is claiming an interest in the surplus, if any, resulting from the foreclosure sale, other than the property owner as of the date of the Lis Pendens, must file a claim on same with the Clerk of Court within 60 days after the foreclosure sale. The United States shall not be bound by the sixty day time period imposed by § 45.032, Fla. Stat. upon motions for distribution of surplus proceeds.
