Request for Qualifications Construction Management At-risk Services
Ruth Eckerd Hall intends to obtain construction management at-risk services for the renovation and expansion of the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater, FL. Full services to be provided include cost estimating, constructability, development and Implementation of a quality control/assurance plan, schedule analysis, value engineering, bid/award phase services, securing permits, bonds, insurances, implementation of direct purchase plan, on-site construction supervision and administration, coordination with design professionals, development/implementation of a safety plan, post-construction/warranty services, and additional services as necessary.

The Capitol Theatre renovation project consists of the total renovations of this movie house originally constructed in 1921 The project will consist of complete interior and exterior new finishes, new mechanical and electrical and plumbing systems. The scope will include the complete renovation and tie-in of a two story building (The Lokey Bldg.) to the west of the movie house. In addition to the movie house and stage, the scope of work includes new public restrooms, new expanded lobby and concession area, a donor lounge, box office, new dressing rooms, new elevators, and new offices.

Applicants for the project must submit the information required by the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) packet which can be obtained via email request to [email protected]. Return the completed RFQ to Jeff Hartzog, Director of Operations, Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33759 by June 8, 2012, no later than 2:00 pm. Ruth Eckerd Hall will not be responsible for any delays in delivery.
