ANY PERSON CLAIMING AN INTEREST IN THE SURPLUS FROM THE SALE, IF ANY, OTHER THAN THE PROPERTY OWNER AS OF THE DATE OF THE LIS PENDENS MUST FILE A CLAIM WITHIN 60 DAYS AFTER THE SALE. The Defendant, DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY, INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE A/K/A THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ON BEHALF OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE shall not be bound by the 60 day time period imposed by § 45.032, FLA. STAT. upon Motions for Distribution of Surplus Proceeds.
