INVITATION TO BID CITY OF DUNEDIN PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA 34698 BID NO. 13-1006
Sealed bids for the President/Lyndhurst Streets Storm Drainage Improvements project will be received until 2:00 p.m., September 10, 2013 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

This project consists of the following Base Bid work and/or Bid Alternate work. Any or all of the Bid Alternates may not be awarded at the time of award.

New storm drainage system improvements for President Street, Lyndhurst Street, and other connecting neighbor streets.to add to, supplement, and modify the existing drainage system. New stormwater piping is to be constructed eastward from a new cast-in-place concrete outfall structure located at Lyndhurst and Alt. 19. Work includes100 feet of 7'x4' precast concrete box culvert; 3500 feet of RCP (12” to 60”); 2500 feet of ERCP (12”x18” to 53” x 83”); precast concrete stormwater inlets; precast concrete stormwater junction boxes; a stormwater treatment unit; restoration of asphalt and brick street pavements; relocation of water and sewer utility piping; and other miscellaneous work such as curb and sidewalk restoration.

Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.

The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.

All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:

“SEALED BID FOR BID NO. 13-1006
PRESIDENT/LYNDHURST STREETS STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
2:00 P.M., SEPTEMBER 10, 2013
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”

The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
