NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City Commission of the City of Winter Garden, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the Commission Chambers, Winter Garden City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787 to consider the adoption of an ordinance bearing the following title:
ORDINANCE 13-59
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF THE HICKORY HAMMOCK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO SECTION 190.046(9), FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF ALL THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES OF THE HICKORY HAMMOCK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT IN ACCORDANCE WITH A PLAN OF DISSOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES, CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER'S ERRORS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Commission of the City of Winter Garden, Florida, will hold a second public hearing on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the Commission Chambers, Winter Garden City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787 to consider the adoption of ordinance 13-59.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard by the City Commission on matters pertaining to the ordinance. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be inspected by members of the public at the City Clerk's Office, located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of legal holidays.
In accordance with Florida Statute ยง 286.26 and the Americans With Disabilities Act, any person needing special accommodations to participate in this matter should contact the City of Winter Garden City Clerk at 407-656-4111, no later than 48 hours prior to the hearing or proceeding for which this notice has been given. Help for the hearing impaired is available through the Assistive Listening System. Receivers can be obtained at the meeting from the Information Technology Director.
