REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Construction Services for
Site Work Construction
Manatee County, Florida
Silverleaf Phase 1A, B and C hereby requests proposal to provide services relating to the construction and/or installation of, but not limited to, site work construction within the Phase 1 A, B, and C of Silverleaf Subdivision near Chin Road and U.S. 301.
The Proposal Package will be available beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. from King Engineering, 2930 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida, 34243. Each proposal package will include, but not be limited to, the Request for Proposals, proposal and contract documents, and construction plans and specifications. A disk will be provided and will include the plans in CADD, .dwf, .pdf format and Exhibit B in Excel format. Ms. Denise Greer, District Engineer, shall be the contact person with regard to the proposal package. Ms. Greer can be reached at [email protected] or 941-358-6500. The District has the right to approve a proposal or contract, reject any and all proposals, make modifications to the work, and waive any minor informalities and irregularities in proposals as it deems appropriate, if it determines in its discretion that it is in the best interest of the District to do so.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held September 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the HBA office at 8131 Lakewood Main St., Suite 207, Lakewood Ranch, Florida 34202.
Ranking of proposals will be made on the basis of qualifications according to the evaluation criteria contained within the Proposal Package. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing only to Ms. Greer, King Engineering 2930 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida, 34243, via facsimile 941-358-6540 or e-mail at [email protected], no later than Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 4:00 p.m.
Vendors desiring to provide services for this project must submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the required proposal no later than 1:00 p.m. on October 14, 2013, at the office of Neal Communities, 5800 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida 34240, and Attention: Ms. Pam White “Silverleaf Phase 1 A, B, and C RFP.” Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed opaque package, shall bear the name of the proposer on the outside of the package and shall identify the name of the project. Note proposals shall also include copy of Exhibit B in Excel format on disk. Proposals will be opened at the time and date stipulated above; those received after the time and date stipulated above will be returned un-opened to the proposer. Any proposal not completed as specified or missing the required proposal documents as provided in the Proposal Package may be disqualified.
