NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Rule F of the Supplemental Rules for Certain Admiralty and Maritime Claims of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and the United States District Court for the Middle District Local Rule 7.06(a) that CHARLES C. WALKER as owner of as 2005 Scout Motor Vessel (HIN # SLPFE988L405) has caused to be filed a Verified Complaint for Limitation of Liability, pursuant to 46 U.S.C. Section 30501 et seq., for all claims arising out of or resulting from an accident involving the subject vessel on June 17, 2011 while the vessel was underway in the Atlantic Ocean off of Cocoa Beach, Florida as otherwise described in the Verified Complaint.
All persons having claims arising from the incident aboard the subject vessel must file them, under oath, as provided in Supplemental Rule F, with the United States District Court Clerk's Office, U.S. Courthouse, 401 West Central Boulevard, #1200, Orlando, Florida 32801, and serve a copy upon the attorneys for the Petitioner, Andrew N. Mescolotto, Esq., Fertig & Gramling, 200 S. E. 13th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316, on or before January 31, 2014 or be defaulted. Personal attendance is not required.
Any claimant desiring to contest the claims of the Petitioner must file an Answer to the Complaint, as required by Supplemental Rule F and mail a copy to Petitioner's attorneys.
