INVITATION TO BID CITY OF DUNEDIN PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA 34698 BID NO. 14-1015
Sealed bids for the Precast Concrete Restroom Building project, will be received until 2:00 p.m., January 21, 2014 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

The purpose of the project is to contract with a manufacturer/supplier of precast concrete products to furnish the City with a restroom building. The awarded manufacturer/supplier will be responsible to deliver the building and set it in place on a City prepared site. City forces will connect all prepared utilities from the building to site. The City seeks a Model AES1018-RRG 10' X 18' X 10'-11” (Gable Height) by AES Precast Co. of Northport, Alabama, or approved equal. The building will be required to meet all Florida Building Code requirements

Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.

The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.

All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:

“SEALED BID FOR BID NO. 14-1015
PRECAST CONCRETE RESTROOM BUILDING
2:00 P.M., JANUARY 21, 2014
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”

The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
