NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA
Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Board will, on August 5, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider the adoption of the following ordinance(s):
ORDINANCE 13-42
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS APPROXIMATELY 44.14 +/- ACRES OF LAND LOCATED GENERALLY SOUTH OF GARDEN COMMERCE PARKWAY AND EAST OF 9TH STREET AND WEST OF CARTER ROAD GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE WINTER GARDEN COMMERCE CENTER, FROM I-1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND WAREHOUSING DISTRICT) TO PID (PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Following the Planning & Zoning Board meeting, the City Commission of the City of Winter Garden will hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 W. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL on August 8, 2013 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon after as possible, and will hold another public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 W. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL on August 22, 2013 to also consider the adoption of the ordinance(s).
Copies of the proposed ordinance(s) (which includes the legal description of the proposed site) may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida.
Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s). Written comments will be accepted before or at the public hearings. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission and/or Planning and Zoning Board at such hearings will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City does not provide this verbatim record.
