NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, the City Commission of the City of Winter Garden will hold a Public Hearing in City Hall Commission Chambers, 1st Floor, 300 W. Plant St., Winter Garden, FL, to consider adopting the following proposed ordinance:
Ordinance 13-65
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 54, PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT, ARTICLE II, PENSION PLAN FOR GENERAL EMPLOYEES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN; AMENDING SECTION 54-26, DEFINITIONS; AMENDING SECTION 54-29, FINANCES AND FUND MANAGEMENT; AMENDING SECTION 54-39, MAXIMUM PENSION; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
Interested parties may appear and be heard regarding the same. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for legal holidays. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission at such hearing, will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this public hearing should contact the City Clerk's office at (407) 656-4111, Ext. 2254 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
