YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that City of Tarpon Springs, a Florida municipal corporation, for the use and benefit of the City of Tarpon Springs Police Department, has filed a Verified Complaint for Forfeiture in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida in and for Pinellas County, requesting on behalf of the City of Tarpon Springs Police Department that $6,360.00 in U.S. CURRENCY that was seized on or about the 2nd day of June, 2014, in the vicinity of the Tarpon Springs City Hall, Tarpon Springs, Pinellas County, Florida, be forfeited to the City of Tarpon Springs for the use and benefit of the City of Tarpon Springs Police Department. The City of Tarpon Springs will seek a Final Judgment of Forfeiture that the $6,360.00 in U.S. CURRENCY be forfeited based upon the presentation of due proof that the above mentioned property was used contrary to the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act.
You are further notified that the City of Tarpon Springs Police Department is holding the above-mentioned property.
