INVITATION TO BID
TO: ALL PREQUALIFIED BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Pinellas County, Clearwater, Florida in the office of the Director of Purchasing, County Annex Office Building, 400 South Fort Harrison Avenue, 6th Floor, Clearwater, Florida, until September 9, 2014 @ 3:00 P.M. and will then and there be opened and read aloud for the following:
Services, Labor, Materials and Equipment required for Construction of:
BID TITLE: Process Pump 90 Modifications - Waste to Energy Facility
BID NO: 134-0449-CP(DF)
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA
The engineering estimate for this project is $634,700.00
All bids for construction services with an engineering estimate in excess of $100,000.00 will be considered only from bidders who have pre-qualified in Water and Sanitary Sewer type construction that equals or exceeds their bid amount. Only those bids from bidders who are prequalified with Pinellas County (or those that have an FDOT equivalent prequalification) in the amount that equals or exceeds their bid prior to bid opening will be considered.
Due to the scope of this Project, a mandatory site visit will be required. Bids received from bidders who do not attend a mandatory site visit will be judged non-responsive and will not be considered for award. A site visit will be held August 19, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at the Reverse Osmosis Plant at the Waste To Energy Facility located at 2861 110 Avenue North, St Petersburg, Florida 33716. Additional site visits may be requested and will be addressed via an addendum.
Plans, specifications and bid forms will be available on compact disk at no charge and may be obtained from Pinellas County Purchasing Department, 400 S.
