CITY OF DUNEDIN SOLID WASTE COLLECTIONS RFID SYSTEM RFP 14-1017 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) PROCEDURES
The City of Dunedin is soliciting proposals from Contractors qualified to provide a “Radio Frequency Identification Data Collection System” (RFID System). The RFID System will be used by the City's Solid Waste Division. Currently, the City uses an outside contractor to collect recycled materials from all residents requiring service. That contractor has an RFID System and uses it to provide collections data to the City. The City seeks to use a similar system for its collection of residential solid waste.

Proposals should be based on the attached Scope of Work. The RFP may be picked up at the address below. You may also email your request to [email protected] or you may download the RFP from www.demandstar.com.

Sealed RFPs. Responses to this request for proposal (please submit one unbound original, five (5) copies and one disc copy) should be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly identified as:

The RFP's are due no later than the date and time noted above. Any RFP's received after that date and time may not be accepted. Any individual requiring special assistance must notify the Purchasing Office in writing 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days, from the opening date, without the consent of the City of Dunedin, Florida.
