INVITATION TO BID CITY OF DUNEDIN PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA 34698 BID NO. 14-1030
Sealed bids for the Jessica Court Bank Stabilization project, will be received until 2:00 p.m., July 15, 2014 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.
This project consists of the following Base Bid work and/or Bid Alternate work. Any or all of the Bid Alternates may not be awarded at the time of award.
Stabilizing 176 linear feet of the northern bank slope of Channel C-E5 to prevent future erosion and reduce impacts to private property. A RENO rock mattress will be constructed to replace the current compacted earth slope. The ditch cross-section will not change significantly. A temporary rock check dam will be in place during construction.
Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.
The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.
All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:
“SEALED BID FOR BID NO. 14-1030
JESSICA COURT BANK STABILIZATION
2:00 P.M., JULY 15, 2014
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”
Copies of plans and specifications can be obtained by going to DemandStar at www.demandstar.com. Hard copies of the bid documents are available at a cost to the Contractor. The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
