Request for Proposals for Annual Audit Services
The Silverleaf Community Development District (“District”) hereby requests proposals for annual financial auditing services. The proposals must provide for the auditing of the District's financial records for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2014, with an option for two additional annual renewals (or for 3 years). The District is a local unit of special-purpose government created pursuant to Chapter 2007-360, Laws of Florida, for the purpose of financing, constructing, and maintaining public infrastructure. The District is located in Manatee County and currently has an operating budget of $65,775.
The Auditing entity submitting a proposal must be duly licensed under Chapter 473, Florida Statues and be qualified to conduct audits in accordance with “Government Auditing Standards”, as adopted by the Florida Board of Accountancy audit shall be in accordance with Florida Law and particularly Section 218.39, F.S., and the rules of the Florida Auditor General.

Proposers must provide seven (7) copies of their proposal to Fishkind & Associates, Attn: Jill Cupps, 12051 Corporate Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32817, telephone (407) 382-3256, in an envelope marked on the outside “Auditing Services, Silverleaf Community Development District.” Proposals must be received by April 25, 2014, 3:00 p.m., at the office of the District Manager.
