ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received, opened and read aloud at the office of Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County 13355 49th Street North, Clearwater, Florida, 33762 at 12:00 P.M., on Friday, December 5, 2014 for the following contract:
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF PINELLAS COUNTY
MARTINS GLEN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT
Copies of the Project Manual and Plans ($10.00) will be available at the office of Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County, 13355 49th Street North, Clearwater, Florida, 33762 during normal business hours from Friday, November 14, 2014 through Thursday, December 4, 2014. The Project Manual and Plans will also be accessible as PDF files (from November 14, 2014 to December 4, 2014). To obtain PDF copies of the plans, send a request to [email protected].
The Project includes clearing and grading, storm drainage, a sanitary sewer system, and road construction to serve a proposed ten home community to be located on a 2.2 acre site in unincorporated Pinellas County, Florida.
All proposals shall be submitted on standard forms, which are furnished in the Project Manual, and returned to the office of Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County before the bid opening and clearly marked “SEALED BID PROPOSAL FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF PINELLAS COUNTY MARTINS GLEN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT”.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, all in accordance with the provisions contained in the Project Manual.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 7951 46TH Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33709 at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be an opportunity for prospective bidders to view the site and request clarification of any items contained in the Project Manual. The Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory.
