The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed Request for Qualifications in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida 301 - Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4 p.m. local time, on October 6, 2014 for the purpose of selecting a firm for Construction Management Services required for the scope listed below.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: Replace the existing HVAC system throughout the campus with a new system to include chilled water variable air flow (VAV) air handlers. Replace existing site piping and install all new campus direct digital controls. The general exhaust systems will be replaced in all buildings. Replace all ductwork and add new exterior mechanical rooms for Buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 & 11. Install new electrical distribution system and replace all ceilings and lights throughout campus.

All phases of this construction project will need to be accomplished on an occupied campus with a minimum disruption to the schools' students, staff and parents. This project will require portable classrooms to house students and teachers during renovation of the existing buildings. The District will be responsible for the installation and removal of the portable classrooms. The CM will be responsible for the connection of all utilities to the portable classrooms and the installation of sidewalks from the existing buildings to the portable classrooms and the removal of all utilities from the portable classrooms and sidewalks after completion of the project.
