NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR MARCH 10, 2015
MUNICIPAL MAIL BALLOT ELECTION
TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA
Sealed, returned envelopes (mailing envelopes) containing ballots for the Town of Oakland's proposed charter revisions election by mail ballot will be available for public inspection from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the office of the Supervisor of Elections, 119 W. Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida. The Canvassing Board will convene at 5:00 p.m. for the Public Logic and Accuracy test for ballot processing and tabulating equipment to be used for the mail ballot election and to perform other duties as required. At 6:00 p.m. all ballots will be opened and processed through the ballot tabulating equipment, however not tabulated. Tabulation of all ballots will not occur before 7:00 p.m. on March 10. A manual audit of this election will be done immediately after the official results have been obtained.
In accordance with the Sunshine law of Florida, this meeting will be open to the public.
Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision by a board, agency or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

AVISO DE REUNIONES PÚBLICAS PARA 10 DE MARZO DE 2015
ELECCION MUNICIPAL DE PAPELETA POR CORREO
CIUDAD DE OAKLAND, FLORIDA
Sobres sellados, devueltos (sobres de correo) que contienen la papeleta de la Ciudad de Oakland con la propuesta de la revisión a la constitución, esta elección de papeleta por correo estará disponible para la inspección publica el martes 10 de marzo de 2015 desde las 5:00 pm hasta las 6:00 pm en la oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones, 119 W. Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida. La Junta de Escrutinio se reunirá a las 5:00 pm para la prueba pública de logÃstica y precisión de las papeletas al igual que el procesamiento y tabulación del equipo utilizado en la Elección de Papeleta por Correo y para realizar otras tareas según requeridas. A las 6:00 pm se abrirán y se procesaran todas las papeletas recibidas a traves del equipo de tabulación, sin embargo las papeletas no serán tabuladas. La tabulación de todas las votaciones no ocurrirá antes de las 7:00 pm el 10 de marzo. Una auditorÃa manual de esta elección será realizada inmediatamente luego de que los resultados oficiales hayan sido obtenidos.
Conforme con la “Sunshine Law” de la Florida, esta reunión será abierta al público.
Nota: La Sección 286.0105 de los Estatutos de la Florida, afirma que si una persona decide apelar cualquier decisión de una junta, agencia o comisión con respecto a cualquier asunto considerado en una reunión o audiencia, el o ella necesitara un registro de los procedimientos, y que, a tal efecto, el o ella puede que necesite asegurarse que se haga un registro textual de los procedimientos, el cual debe incluir el testimonio y la evidencia sobre la cual la apelación se basará.
