NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT
The Town of Oakland Commission will review a proposal to change the Zoning designation of the following properties generally located south of State Road 50 at the intersection of Remington Road and Glory Anna Drive, aka, unaddressed Remington Road as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN OF OAKLAND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE VII, SECTION 7.1, ZONING CODE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF R-1 FOR THAT +/- 7.105 ACRE PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A public hearing will be heard on the request by the Town Commission at the following time and place:

WHERE: Historic Town Hall
220 N. Tubb Street
WHEN: 7:00 P.M.
All hearings are open to the public. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this request at the public hearing or in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. A copy of the request can be inspected at the Town Hall. Any party appealing a land use decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of public hearings are subject to change. Changes are announced at the initial scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
