CITY OF DUNEDIN INVITATION TO BID BID NO. 15-1052
Sealed bids for the Monroe / Huntley Street Improvements project will be received until 2:00 p.m., July 28, 2015 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.
This project consists of the following Base Bid work and/or Bid Alternate work. Any or all of the Bid Alternates may not be awarded at the time of award.
Only the Monroe Street portion of the plans will be constructed at this time. The Huntley Avenue, Washington Street and Trail Connection portions will be at a later date.
The project location is Monroe Street from Broadway to the Pinellas Trail and the radius of Huntley Avenue at Monroe Street to Station 200+81.02.
This project includes removal of existing features, full depth reclamation of the roadway with adjustments to the grade and width, drainage structure and pipe adjustment and replacement, manhole adjustments, pervious concrete parallel parking, concrete valley and type “F” curb, driveway aprons and sidewalk ramps, concrete paver sidewalks with concrete ribbon curb, two textured pavement crosswalks, landscaping, irrigation, signage, pavement marking, and maintenance of traffic throughout the project.
The power pole at northwest corner of Monroe Street and Huntley Avenue intersection will not be moved. Associated curb work will be adjusted in the field.
Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.
The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.
All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:

2:00 P.M., July 28, 2015
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”

The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
