INVITATION TO BID CITY OF DUNEDIN PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA 34698 BID NO. 15-1046
Sealed bids for the RENEWABLE ANNUAL MISCELLANEOUS CONCRETE RESTORATION PROJECT will be received until 2:30 p.m., April 28, 2015 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.
This project includes restoring, repairing or constructing concrete curb, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, and driveway aprons. Also included in the project is underdrain installation and related restoration work. The contract runs for 12 months and Work Orders may be written for any or all of the included items during that time. The contract allows for a 12 month extension if both parties agree.
Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.
The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.
All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:
“SEALED BID FOR BID NO. 15-1046
RENEWABLE ANNUAL MISCELLANEOUS
CONCRETE RESTORATION PROJECT
2:30 P.M., APRIL 28, 2015
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”
Copies of plans and specifications can be obtained by going to DemandStar at www.demandstar.com. Hard copies of the bid documents are available at a cost to the Contractor. The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
