Request for Letters of Interest
University Place Community Development District
District Counsel
The Board of Supervisors of the University Place Community Development District is interested in receiving Letters of Interest from attorneys interested in serving as General District Counsel. The District is a special purpose unit of local government in Manatee County.
Letters of Interest should reference prior experience representing Community Development Districts or other units of local government. This solicitation does not include bond counsel services. Letters should also include proposed fee arrangements, including hourly fees and, if possible, alternative fee arrangements for monthly meetings and other work. Letters of Interest should also include a list of client references.
Seven (7) copies of a Letter of Interest should be provided to the University Place Community Development District, 2634 Cypress Ridge Blvd. Suite 102, Wesley Chapel, Florida 33544, Attention: Robert Nanni, District Manager, no later than Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. One additional electronic copy should be provided via email to [email protected]. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals with or without cause or to contract with the attorney or firm that best serves the needs of the District.
