INVITATION TO BID CITY OF DUNEDIN PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA 34698 BID NO. 15-1050
Sealed bids for the Dunedin Marina Rehabilitation -Phase II (West Wall & Intracoastal Wall Repairs) project, will be received until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

This project consists of the following Base Bid work and/or Bid Alternate work. Any or all of the Bid Alternates may not be awarded at the time of award.

The project consists of repairing approximately 480 linear feet of concrete cap and providing additional stabilization measures to the existing west seawall, inclusive of replacing approximately 50 linear feet of the intracoastal seawall located near the northern end of the marina basin, contiguous to St. Joseph Sound. Work shall be sequenced as described herein, and will include impacts and associated repairs to the adjacent Pram Shed and Dunedin Boat Club structures, and dock finger piers.

Discrimination: An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid on a contract to provide goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not award or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity.

The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Contract Documents which will be available at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, FL.

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

All bids shall be submitted on standard bid forms (in duplicate), which are furnished with the bidding package and shall be in a sealed envelope marked:

“SEALED BID FOR BID NO. 15-1050
DUNEDIN MARINA REHABILITATION - PHASE II
(WEST WALL & INTRACOASTAL WALL REPAIRS)
2:00 P.M., JUNE 16, 2015
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”

The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
