ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed Request for Qualifications in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida 301 - Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4 p.m. local time, on December 1, 2015 for the purpose of selecting a firm for Design Services required for the scope listed below.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: The Pinellas County School Board (the district) requests qualification statements from experienced and qualified firms or individuals to provide design services for an Electrical Distribution Replacement.
Scope of work: The scope of this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Install all new electrical switchgear, sub distribution panelboards, transformers, feeder conduits and conductors. All existing homerun conduits will be re-routed into new panelboards and branch homerun conductors will be re-pulled. Layout all electrical rooms and provide an arc fault study for the entire electrical distribution system. Coordinate the removal of an existing Duke Energy primary feeder located under Building 1. Provide design for anew emergency generator and two automatic transfer switches and all associated branch circuit wiring. The new distribution system will be installed parallel to the existing system and switched over one at a time. A new grounding and bonding system will be established throughout the facility. Additional welding stations will be added to the existing program. All branch circuits will be accurately identified on all panelboard directories throughout the entire facility. Architectural services will be included in this project to modify walls and doors to accommodate working clearances in electrical rooms.

PHASE 3 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS:
30 DAYS
Such time limitations shall be exclusive of review and approval.
