CITY OF DUNEDIN INVITATION TO BID BID #16-1064 DESIGN/BUILD FOR A STEEL FRAMED PARKING CANOPY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) PROCEDURES
The City of Dunedin is soliciting bids from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities (Contractor) authorized to do business in the State of Florida qualified to design and build a steel framed parking canopy (parking canopy). The awarded entity will be required to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work. The parking canopy will be erected at the Solid Waste Division located at 1070 Virginia Street Dunedin, FL 34698. The parking canopy will be used as a garage/cover for Solid Waste vehicles.
Bids shall be based on the attached Scope of Work. The bid specifications may be picked up at the address below. You may also email your request to [email protected] or you may download the RFP from www.demandstar.com.
Sealed Bids. Responses to this Invitation to Bid (please submit one original and one copy, properly labeled) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly identified as:

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn in favor of the City of Dunedin in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount base bid. Bids are due no later than the date and time noted above. Any bid received after that date and time will not be accepted. Any individual requiring special assistance must notify the Purchasing Office in writing 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days, from the opening date, without the consent of the City of Dunedin, Florida.
