REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Construction Services for
Site Work Construction
Manatee County, Florida

Silverleaf Community Development District hereby requests proposal to provide services relating to the construction and/or installation of, but not limited to, site work construction within the Phase 1D of Silverleaf Subdivision near Chin Road and U.S. 301.
The Proposal Package will be available on disk beginning Monday, March 28, at 1:00 p.m. from King Engineering Associates, Inc., 2930 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida 34243. Each proposal package will include, but not be limited to, the Request for Proposals, proposal and contract documents, and construction plans and specifications, plans in CADD, .dwf, .pdf format and Exhibit B in Excel format. Ms. Denise Greer, District Engineer, shall be the contact person with regard to the proposal package. Ms. Greer can be reached at [email protected] or 941-358-6500. The District has the right to approve a proposal or contract, reject any and all proposals, make modifications to the work, and waive any minor informalities and irregularities in proposals as it deems appropriate, if it determines in its discretion that it is in the best interest of the District to do so. Contractor's Qualification Statement is required as provided in bid documents and the Contractor must have an aggregate bonding limit of $20,000,000.00 minimum.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held April 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the HBA office at 8131 Lakewood Main St., Suite 207, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202.
Ranking of proposals will be made on the basis of qualifications according to the evaluation criteria contained within the Proposal Package. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing only to Ms. Greer, King Engineering Associates, Inc., 2930 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida 34243, via facsimile 941-358-6540 or e-mail at [email protected], no later than Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
Vendors desiring to provide services for this project must submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the required proposal no later than April 15, 2016, at the office of King Engineering Associates, Inc., 2930 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida 34243 and Attention: Denise Greer “Silverleaf, Phase 1D RFP.” Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed opaque package, shall bear the name of the proposer on the outside of the package and shall identify the name of the project. Note that proposals shall also include copy of Exhibit B in Excel format on disk. Proposals will be opened at the time and date stipulated above; those received after the time and date stipulated above will be returned un-opened to the proposer. Any proposal not completed as specified or missing the required proposal documents as provided in the Proposal Package may be disqualified.
