INVITATION TO BID City of Dunedin Reclaimed Water Storage Tank and Pump Station Financial Project #: 521401 Bid #: 16-1067 CITY OF DUNEDIN FLORIDA
The work generally consists of the following:
Installation of a 2.0 MG reclaimed water storage tank, reclaimed water high service pumps, monitoring building, and related electrical and instrumentation systems. Project consists of removing existing 8” and 24” abandoned storm pipes, all site preparation including tree removal and tree protection, installation of all footer and foundation requirements for all permanent structures, fabrication and installation of abovementioned equipment, and site restoration. The project is located at The City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Plant (1140 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Dunedin, Florida 34698).
The budgeted amount for the project is $1,700,531.
The time allotted for this project is 240 days, for substantial completion and 270 days for final completion.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on, June 14, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., City of Dunedin Engineering Services, 737 Louden Ave, 2nd Floor, Dunedin, FL 34698.
All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Russell Ferlita, Ph.D., P.E., Project Engineer, at [email protected], prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFI's submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner.
Sealed proposals will be accepted by the City of Dunedin, Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698, until
2:00 P.M., Local Time
Tuesday, July 12, 2016
at which time, bids will be opened and read aloud in the Engineering Office, located at the Office of the City Engineer, 737 Louden Ave, 2nd Floor, Dunedin, FL 34698 .
All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Two copies of the bid proposal shall be submitted on the standard forms that are included in the specifications and must be marked,
“SEALED BID FOR CONTRACT
Financial Project #: 521401
Bid #: 16-1067
DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM.”
In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidder's name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above.
