Proposed Improvements to Central Park
A public meeting will be held at the Town of Windermere Town Hall located at 614 Main Street, Windermere, Florida 34786 on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. to allow the public an opportunity to provide comments on a proposed grant application that the Town intends to submit to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The application will request funding for recreation improvements to Central Park, which is located within the town limits of Windermere. The grant will be funded by the FY 2017-2018 Florida Recreation Assistance Program (FRDAP). The amount being requested will not exceed $50,000. The grant will fund improvements to the playground, trails, picnic facilities, and related recreation improvements.
