NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA
Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden City Commission will, on April 27, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider the adoption of the following ordinance(s):
ORDINANCE 17-07
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 16-58 ESTABLISHING THE PUD ZONING ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS APPROXIMATELY 1.15 ± ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WEST PLANT STREET AND SOUTH PARK AVENUE (AS KNOWN AS THE PARK & PLANT PUD), TO REZONE AN ADDITIONAL 0.36 ± ACRES OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF WEST SMITH STREET, EAST OF SOUTH PARK AVENUE, AND WEST OF SOUTH CENTRAL AVENUE, AT 277 WEST SMITH STREET, FROM R-NC (RESIDENTIAL-NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT), ADDING THIS ADDITONAL 0.36 ACRES OF LAND TO THE PARK & PLANT PUD AND AMENDING CERTAIN DESIGN STANDARDS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the proposed ordinance(s) (which includes the legal description in metes and bounds of the proposed site) may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s). Written comments will be accepted before or at the public hearings. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City does not provide this verbatim record. Persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this public hearing should contact the City Clerk's Office at (407) 656-4111 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
