Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Pinellas County, Clearwater, Florida in the office of the Director of Purchasing, County Annex Office Building, 400 South Fort Harrison Avenue, 6th Floor, Clearwater, Florida, until
July 18, 2017 @ 3:00 P.M. and will then and there be opened and read aloud for the following:
Services, Labor, Materials and Equipment Required for Construction of:
NORTH TRAIN ANOXIC GATE IMPROVEMENTS - SOUTH CROSS BAYOU WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY
BID NO. 167-0415-CP (DF)
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA
The engineering estimate for this project is $1,268,200.00
Due to the scope of this Project, a mandatory site visit will be offered. Bidders must attend the mandatory site visit in order to bid on this project. Vendors must complete the Site Visit Sign-In Sheet information requested in order to receive credit for attendance. Questions will not be addressed at the site visit and must be emailed to Purchasing. Question responses will be provided via addendum. The site visit will be held June 28, 2017 at 8:30 A.M. at the South Cross Bayou Water Reclamation Facility Operations Building, 7401 54th Avenue N, St Petersburg, Florida 33709.
Awards of bids for construction services with an engineering estimate in excess of $100,000 will only be made to Bidders who have pre-qualified with Pinellas County for Water and Sanitary Sewer type construction, or those that are pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in an equivalent prequalification, in the amount that equals or exceeds their bid. Only those bids from Bidders that meet the pre-qualification requirements from either Pinellas County or FDOT prior to a bid opening will be considered.
Plans, specifications and bid forms will be available on compact disk at no charge and may be obtained from Pinellas County Purchasing Department, 400 S.
