FIRST INSERTION
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES
FIELDSTONE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA
The Fieldstone Community Development District (“District”), pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act), requests Applications for Qualification from architectural design firms (“Firms”) interested in providing services on a continuing basis for planning, preparing reports and plans, designs and specifications for recreation improvements, hardscape, and other public improvements and community facilities authorized by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, and oversight of construction of the same.
Any Firm desiring to provide such professional services to the District must 1) hold applicable federal, state and local licenses; 2) if a corporate entity, be a current and active corporation or authorized to do business in the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 607, Florida Statutes; and 3) furnish a resume of its qualifications and past experience on Standard Form No. 330 with pertinent supporting data. Selection of a firm to meet the needs of the District will be based on the following criteria:
• Ability and adequacy of the professional personnel employed by each consultant;
• Whether a consultant is a certified minority business enterprise;
• Each consultant's past performance;
• Willingness of each consultant to meet time and budget requirements;
• Geographic location of each consultant's headquarters, office and personnel in relation to the project;
• Recent, current and projected workloads of each consultant; and
• Volume of work previously awarded to each consultant by the District.
Interested Firms are required to submit two (2) sealed copies of the Standard Form 330 and letter of interest on or before Friday, July 14, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. to District Manager - Fieldstone CDD, Fishkind & Associates, Inc., 12051 Corporate Blvd., Orlando, FL 32817. The proposals will be opened at the date and time identified above.
The District reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications. Additionally, there is no express or implied obligation for the District to reimburse responding firms for any expenses associated with the preparation and submittal of the Applications for Qualification in response to this request.
