NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE
TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINDERMERE
REGARDING VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION
All persons are hereby notified that the Town Council for the Town of Windermere, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 12, at 6:30 P.M. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may come before the council) at the Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main Street, Windermere, Florida, to consider comments from the public regarding Ordinance No. 2017-03 which proposes to adjust and expand the Town's boundaries, through a voluntary annexation pursuant to Chapter 171 of the Florida Statutes, by annexing into the Town's boundaries property located at the eastern end of Down Yonder Lane as depicted below:
Interested persons may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed annexation and the ordinance.
Ordinance 2017-03 and the complete legal description, by metes and bounds, of the area proposed for annexation can be obtained at the office of the Town Clerk during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday), 614 Main Street, Windermere, Florida. Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in this proceeding should contact the Town Clerk at least 48 hours before the meeting.
Persons are advised, pursuant to Section 286.0105 of the Florida Statutes, that, if they decide to appeal any decision made by the Town Council at this public hearing, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record should include testimony and evidence upon which an appeal is based.
