NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Oakland will hold a public hearing and proposes to adopt the following ordinance as follows:
ORDINANCE 2017-17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION 42-68 OF DIVISION 2 ENTITLED “RECYCLING; SERVICE CHARGES' OF CHAPTER 42 ENTITLED “HEALTH AND SANITATION” TO PROVIDE THAT THE AMOUNT LEVIED FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION/RECYLCING SERIVCE WILL BE SET BY RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY AND FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A public hearing by the Town Commission to consider this ordinance is scheduled to be held at the following time, date and place:
DATE: Tuesday, October 24, 2017
WHERE: Historic Town Hall, 220 N. Tubb Street, Oakland, Florida
WHEN: 7:00 P.M.
All hearings are open to the public. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this ordinance at the public hearing or in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. A copy of the ordinance can be inspected at the Town Hall. Any party appealing a decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of public hearings are subject to change. Changes are announced at the initial scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
