Sealed bids for the “Dunedin Community Center Pervious Concrete Parking Lot Improvements” project will be received until the time and date noted below at the Purchasing Office, in the City of Dunedin Municipal Services Building, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance must give the Purchasing Section written notice 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

The purpose of the project is to contract with a properly licensed contractor qualified to furnish and install all equipment, labor and materials necessary to complete the work. The work will be performed at the Dunedin Community Center located at 1920 Pinehurst Road Dunedin, FL. 34698. The work includes the removal and disposal of approximately 409 cubic yards of existing granite chips, geoweb and material as shown on the Bid Drawings. Stabilization/compaction of subgrade, installation of approximately 738 square yards, 12 inch thick mat of 57 stone aggregate, 8” of pervious concrete and 6” parking lot striping. The site is easily accessible at any time for inspection.

Envelopes containing bids shall be securely sealed and clearly marked:

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn in favor of the City of Dunedin in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bid specifications are available at the office the Purchasing Agent (Phone: 727-298-3077) at the address noted above. You may also email your request to: [email protected] or download the specifications from www.demandstar.com. There is no cost for the specifications. Bids shall be prepared in the same format as listed in the specifications and remain firm for a period of 90 calendar days. The City reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interest of the City; to waive informalities; or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with these instructions and specifications may be disqualified.
